Tips, Information about the Game, and More
- Chip's Challenge newsgroup — official discussion group for Chip's Challenge. If you don't have a newsreader such as Outlook Express, then use the newsportal from Anders Kaseorg's site.
- Chip's Plus Site — by Alice Voith. Has excellent maps and tips for CC1 levels. Site hasn't been updated since 1998, though.
- Chip's Challenge Solution AVIs — maintained by Mike L (me). Animated solutions for all CC1 and CCLP2 levels.
- Public TWS — from pie guy's site. TWS solutions for all CC1 and CCLP2 levels. To view the solutions, you need Tile World (listed below in the "Chip's Challenge clones" section).
- CC solutions — from StrategyWiki. Has walkthroughs for many CC1 and CCLP2 levels.
- Chip's Challenge Corridor — by Anders Kaseorg. Includes a FAQ with questions and answers submitted by CC fans. Included in the FAQ is general CC info, info on the Microsoft port (the most popular version), info on other ports, and information on the famous unreleased Chip's Challenge 2. Also included is the old AVI site.
- Andrew E.'s Chip's Challenge Site — has his level sets, links, a list of alternate graphics, and his program cclpinfo.
- A Chip's Challenge forum by Blake Ebert with scores for CC level sets.
- Chip's Home — by Andrew Gapic. Has some CC stuff and resources for his level set.
- Chip's Challenge Homepage Denmark — by Anne Olsen. Contains links, a list of level sets, and other info.
- Chip's Challenge CyberCafe — by Brian Phillips. Has CC info, tips, links, and downloads.
- Dan Miller's Chip's Challenge Notes — contains some notes on the game and some links.
- af380's site — has many links to CC sites and some CC levels you can play online!
- Richard Field's site — includes his level guides, and links to a few other level guides.

- Chip's Challenge Downloads — by Tyler Sontag. Contains a list of almost all CC-related programs and graphics available. Some are links to other pages, and some are files directly from his site.

Download Chip's Challenge Levels
(To play them, you will need Tile World (listed in the "Chip's Challenge clones" section below) or, if you already have Chip's Challenge, you can use MyChips, Chip's Controls, or CCTools from the "Programs people have made" section below.)
- Chip's Challenge Level Pack 2 (CCLP2) — the official sequel to CC1. CC fans voted for levels they wanted to be included.
- The Yahoo group — you can upload your own sets here. Has most of the level sets available. You have to be a member, but it's free.
- pie guy's site — has some level sets, including his own. You can become a member and upload your own level set here too.
- My level set page — contains links (not direct downloads from my site) to almost every level set on the Internet.
- MikeL2 — my level set of 197 levels, and its scoreboard and AVIs. There is also a Tile World Lynx-compatible version of MikeL2 available.
Scores for the Levels
- Jimmy Vermeer's site — lists everyone's times and total scores on CC1 and CCLP2 levels (hasn't been updated since 2006)
- Ruben Spaans' page — lists the confirmed and unconfirmed records, as well as the evolution of the records, for CC1 and CCLP2 (hasn't been updated since 2004)
- Updated high score tables — updated lists of CC1 and CCLP2 high times
- pie guy's site — scoreboards for various custom level sets. You can upload your own set here and have a scoreboard for it.
Programs people have made for Chip's Challenge
- MyChips — by Dale Bryan. Use this to make a separate .exe file for all the level sets you make or download. That way, the scores of each set won't interfere with each other.
- Chip's Controls — by Mike L (me). Play many level sets with just one EXE file and one INI file. Also contains ChipEnd, an EXE Creator, a DAC file generator for Tile World, and a score file editor.
- CCTools — by Michael H. Comes with a level editor, level player/manager, and a CHIPS.EXE customizer.
- ChipEdit — by John Elion. The first level editor released.
- Chip's Workshop — by Chris Elsby. Another level editor.
- cclpinfo — by Andrew E. and Madhav Shanbhag. Outputs level specs for all the levels of the specified level set.
- ccdiff — by Madhav Shanbhag. Compares two versions of a level set. This file is at the Yahoo group, so you will need to be a member if you aren't already.
- T-Chip — by Ruben Spaans. Get timed on the untimed levels!
- MapMaker — by Ruben Spaans. Make maps of CC levels.
- ChipCap — by Anders Kaseorg. Record animated solutions of Chip's Challenge levels.
- CCpatch — by ccexplore. A CC patch that fixes the bug that causes the game to crash when Chip steps on a square that has a monster, key, or boot on both the top and bottom layer. I'm not sure if this patch is legal for scorekeeping purposes.
- fullsec — by ccexplore. A CC patch that gives you the full first second every time you play a level. I'm not sure if this patch is legal for scorekeeping purposes either.
- pgchip — by David Stolp (pie guy). A CC patch that adds a new tile to the game - the ice block.
Chip's Challenge Clones
- Tile World — by Brian Raiter. An emulation of Chip's Challenge - both the MS CC and Lynx versions. Compatible on computers running either Windows or Linux, and maybe Mac.
- Tile World for Macintosh — by Thomas Harte. A port of Tile World that will definitely work on Mac.
- Tile World for GP2X — by Dan Silsby. A port of Tile World for the GP2X handheld gaming system.
- TileGame — by Frode van der Meeren. A port of Chip's Challenge for the TI-83/84 graphing calculator. Located at the Chip's Challenge Yahoo group, so you'll need to become a member if you aren't already.
- Online TileGame — by Frode van der Meeren - an online version of the above TileGame clone.
- Remazed — by themodernizer. Not yet fully functional.
- Some CC levels you can play online — by Norman DeForest and Madhav Shanbhag.
- Pocket Chip's Challenge — by Iceboxman Technologies. A clone of Chip's Challenge for the PocketPC.
- Play CC online — from GameTap. Play Chip's Challenge online! (However, it does cost money.)
